We Believe ....
- That God is perfect, loving and holy, that He exists as a Triune being, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, all equally God. That He is eternally self-exxistent and is the Creator of all things.
- That God is a good God, and desires for all mankind to be saved, and experience love, joy and peace.
- That Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity. That He came to earth to live and die for the sins of all mankind. That He was crucified, died and was buried, and that God raised Him from the dead on the third day.
- That Jesus' death and ressurection paid for the sin of all mankind. That all persons are guilty of sin and are in need of salvation. That Jesus Christ is the only means of salvation available to mankind. Salvation is available to each and every person through faith in Jesus Christ.
- That the Bible is the Word of God, infallible in its original text, and profitable for teaching and training in righteousness.
- That Water Baptism is an ordinance of the Church, for those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior through faith, and is a symbolic identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, and allows for a supernatural cutting away of the old nature.
- That all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the New Testament are available to believers today and are necessary for the church to fulfill its mission on earth.
- That the church exists by the will of God to equip believers to win the lost and grow in Christ.
- that there is a literal Heaven and a literal Hell. That Heaven is a place of eternal bliss in the presence of God, and that Hell is a place of eternal torment and separation from God.
- That believers in Christ who die go to Heaven to be with God for all eternity. That unbelievers who die are sent to Hell for all eternity.
- That Jesus Christ will return one day to gather up His own, and that He will set up His Kingdom on earth for a thousand years, after that there will be a great judgment, and Hell and all unbelievers will be cast into the Lake of fire for eternity, and believers will spend eternity with God.
- That the gospel is good news, and it is the privilege and responsibility of all believers to share this good news with others as the Lord directs.
